Volunteer Applications

If you are interested in volunteering at our YMCA please complete the Employment/Volunteer Application Form (below) and submit to support@osgb.ymca.ca.  A member of our Customer Service Team will connect your application with the YMCA Supervisor responsible for your area of interest. You will be contacted if they have current volunteer opportunities available.

There is a minimum age requirement of 12 years old.  

Student Volunteers

Are you a high school student looking for a fun place to complete your 40 hours? Volunteer with us! High school students are welcome in any of the roles above at our YMCA. Apply today using the same method listed above and indicate that you are a student. Training is provided and counts towards your volunteer hours. While you give back to the community, you’ll pick up lots of transferable skills that will help you in the coming years. Although you are only required to complete 40 hours, we’re hoping you will enjoy volunteering with us so much, you decide to stay longer!

We have opportunities in a number of departments for high school and college co-op placements. You are guaranteed to leave with solid, hands-on experience that will help you in whatever you choose to take on next.
