We do that by offering financial assistance to those in need so everyone in our community can access the programs and services they need to live happy, healthy lives.

2 – Indoor Pools

Our beautiful, indoor swimming pools are a fantastic place to learn to swim in a safe environment or break a sweat in our 25m lane pool during one of our many water aerobics classes or lane swim times. Our warm leisure pool is perfect for therapeutic exercises or having a blast during Family Fun time.

3 – Personal Fitness Training

Our certified personal trainers can help you improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscular conditioning, endurance, flexibility, and can further improve your body composition through both traditional and innovative techniques.

Whether you’re just beginning to work out on a regular basis, or maybe you’re an athlete looking to get to the next level, we have trainers that specialize in different disciplines and offer challenging workouts designed to meet your specific fitness goals. We help our members lose weight, gain more flexibility and mobility, rehabilitate after injury, or perform better at specific sports.

4 – Health for the Whole Family

Our programming is targeted to all ages so everyone in your family can find an activity at the Y! Struggling to find time to work out in a gym? Bring your kids for swim lessons or other youth programs and use that time to focus on your own health. Worried about the health of a parent or partner? Bring them to a fitness or aquatics class and make living a healthier life a fun and joyful experience! An added bonus is our Y@HOME+ online portal where members can access live classes and hundreds of on-demand videos for FREE! Content includes health and wellness videos, family activities, fitness classes, cooking classes and more.

5 – Sports Programs

Our sports programs give youth and adults a chance to compete in team sports in a fun and competitive environment. With COVID-19 protocols in place, we’re able to offer basketball (Hoops Shoot Around), badminton, and pickleball! Enjoy the camaraderie that comes from playing and competing together.

6 – Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are a great way to prepare your young swimmers to enjoy the water in a much safer way. Here at the YMCA, we offer swim levels for swimmers of all ages, along with private and adult lessons. We provide water safety classes for the whole family, that way, each member of your family is confident around bodies of water, and ultimately safer. This can help everyone in your family enjoy going to a pool or waterpark, or even outside to swim in a natural body of water.

7 – Orientations

Our YMCA is a welcoming facility where you can get motivated and achieve your goals. Starting your health and fitness journey can be overwhelming, especially when you’re unfamiliar with the space and equipment. That’s why we offer free Orientations to our members for the Fitness Centre, including individual equipment tutorials, our Aquatics centre, and tours of the whole facility! Book an orientation with our staff and we’ll guide you through our facility so you’re prepared on day one.

8 – Certifications & Courses

Our YMCA offers many educational courses, Aquatic Certifications and Youth Awareness Courses that are free or at a reduced price for our members. At the Y, we believe that a person’s overall health and wellbeing goes beyond their physical health. We provide educational training to help people of all ages learn and grow to reach their full potential.

9 – Advanced Registration & Reduced Fees

Members receive early access to registration for programs like Swim Lessons, Kung Fu, Youth Awareness Courses, Tai Chi and more! We have a convenient online portal — ACTIVE Net — where members can manage their profile, book classes and register for programs. Along with one FREE swim lesson per session, members also receive reduced fees for specialty classes like Aquatic Certifications.
