This program gives students the ability to resolve or diffuse a situation in a healthy and productive manner, before it becomes out of control, dangerous or violent.

Topics covered include:
  • The definition of conflict and violence
  • Problem solving techniques for resolving conflicts
  • How to identify the potential positive and negative consequences of using violence to resolve conflicts
  • Examine different kinds of hurtful behaviour
  • Conversation starters to help open communication with parents, teachers and friends
Conflict resolution training doesn’t completely eliminate conflict, but it helps students resolve conflicts without using violence or power control. This program provides a solid foundation of tolerance, acceptance, and self control that can be used from childhood throughout adulthood.
