Canada-Ontario Job Grant

Funding provided by the Government of Canada through the Canada Job Grant Programs delivered by the Government of Ontario.

Invest in your workforce with help from the government.

As an employer, you are in the best position to identify the skills your employees need and areas where you are having difficulty finding workers with the right skills.

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG) allows the cost of training to be shared between you, the employer, and the government, and allows you to select the type of skills-training that is right for your business needs.

For example, Company ABC has an opening for a construction site manager. Patrick, a long-time construction worker with Company ABC, is a good fit for the position but he needs training in project management. The cost of the training is $3,000. Company ABC applies for and receives a Canada-Ontario Job Grant for up to $2,500. Company ABC pays the remaining $500. Patrick gets training for a new job and Company ABC gets the right person with the right skills.
