YMCA Job Board is the go-to place for local job seekers; with over 2,500 views per week your job posting will reach a variety of skilled job seekers throughout Grey-Bruce. Post your job free of charge by creating/logging into your employer account. You have the ability to add and remove postings as needed, reactivate listings and request hiring support from a YMCA Job Developer.

Job Posting Tips to Attract Qualified Candidates:

  • provide a detailed job description
  • include full details for how applicants should apply (i.e. contact name, email address, fax number)
  • indicate part-time, full-time or seasonal
  • indicate minimum education requirements (OSSD, College, Certifications)
  • proof-read to eliminate spelling errors
  • set a closing date no longer than 4 weeks; 2 weeks is ideal

 

Job Developer Assistance

A YMCA Job Developer will work with you to understand your hiring needs and help you fill positions with candidates who will become valued employees in your business. A YMCA Job Developer will help to improve recruitment time and effectiveness by referring pre-screened candidates. We will also discuss your eligibility for wage subsidies and other Employment Ontario programs that will assist with the costs associated with hiring and training.
