In just three short years Grey Bruce Settlement & Language Services have supported over 650 families, youth and adults across Grey and Bruce Counties.

One of the programs funded by Bruce County is the YMCA Rural Housing and Homelessness Outreach, which has a priority of ensuring safety and access to basic needs.

From November 12-19, during YMCA Peace Week, the YMCA of Owen Sound and Grey Bruce, together with YMCAs across Canada, are celebrating the presence of peace in our communities, and reflecting on the peace building work that happens all year both inside and outside the YMCA. Nominations now accepted for this year’s Peace Medal.

In 2022, YMCAs in Canada have continued to reflect on the work that still needs to be done to address our collective responsibility to persist in our commitment toward reconciliation.

The survey invites tenants who live in private market, non-profit and social housing to share their views on a range of issues.
