Lockwood Painting is looking for a dependable, organized individual to join our team as a Residential Estimating Assistant.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
This is a work-from-home computer position. Previous painting or estimating experience is not required. We are prepared to completely train the right person in our estimating system, painting terminology, production rates, pricing structure, and company procedures.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
• Review photographs, measurements, notes, and project information<\/div>\n
• Enter job details into our estimating software<\/div>\n
• Prepare clear and accurate residential painting estimates<\/div>\n
• Calculate labour, materials, and project pricing using our established system<\/div>\n
• Communicate with our office team when information is missing or unclear<\/div>\n
• Maintain organized and accurate customer records<\/div>\n
• Follow up on estimates and make revisions when required<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We are looking for someone who is:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
• Honest, dependable, and responsible<\/div>\n
• Comfortable working independently from home<\/div>\n
• Confident using computers, email, and online software<\/div>\n
• Organized and attentive to detail<\/div>\n
• Comfortable working with measurements and basic math<\/div>\n
• Able to follow a consistent step-by-step process<\/div>\n
• Willing to ask questions rather than make assumptions<\/div>\n
• Able to communicate professionally and clearly<\/div>\n
• Interested in learning about the residential painting industry<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Painting experience is not necessary. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, computer ability, and willingness to learn are much more important to us.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

POSITION DETAILS<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
• Work-from-home position<\/div>\n
• [Part-time]<\/div>\n
• Approximately 25 to 40 hours per week<\/div>\n
• Working hours: Flexible<\/div>\n
• Starting compensation: $18.50<\/div>\n
• All estimating training provided<\/div>\n
• Ongoing support from an experienced painting company<\/div>\n
• Computer and required software are provided.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Lockwood Painting is an established residential painting company serving Grey, Bruce, Simcoe, and the surrounding area. We work with homeowners, custom homebuilders, and renovators on residential repainting, renovations, and new-construction projects.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
