The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a strong customer service background. This a great opportunity for someone who is seeking meaningful employment and passionate about helping others.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver alternative justice services to youth and\/or adults referred to the program(s) from across Grey &amp; Bruce.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and facilitate workshops to youth and adults.<\/li>\n<li>Match, place and monitor clients required to complete community service with nonprofit community organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other justice sector agencies and community partners.<\/li>\n<li>Respond professionally to challenging situations.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct outreach to local organizations, stakeholders and community groups.<\/li>\n<li>All other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Just Some of the Benefits of Working at the YMCA:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal and professional growth while collaborating and being an integral part of our Justice Programs team.<\/li>\n<li>Free membership to our Health, Fitness and Aquatics facility.<\/li>\n<li>Fun, passionate and dependable co-workers and the opportunity to be part of an organization that gives back to the community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a minimum of 18 years of age.<\/li>\n<li>Be legally entitled to work in Canada.<\/li>\n<li>Have current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than ninety (90) days preceding your start date.<\/li>\n<li>Have post-secondary degree or diploma in social services or related field plus related work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Have minimum Class G Driver&rsquo;s License; own vehicle and be willing and able to travel throughout Grey and Bruce Counties.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience creating content and delivering workshops.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of alternative justice and the justice system.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication \/ organization skills, comfortable with public speaking.<\/li>\n<li>Detail oriented with high expectations ensuring quality service provision and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Works independently and succeeds in setting priorities and achieving outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Provide 3 professional references.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The YMCA&rsquo;s Commitment to Protecting Those We Serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are committed to our responsibility to protect the children and other vulnerable people we serve.
