This is a casual position, reporting to the Manager of Arena Operations. The position will perform garbage pick-up and disposal, sweeping, mopping, and washroom cleaning. Successful candidates will be able to watch the Owen Sound Attack Games prior to their cleaning shifts after the games. This posting is for an existing vacancy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clean seating areas following hockey games and events, including garbage pickup, sweeping, mopping, changing garbage and recycling, and cleaning stairs and other public areas.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with setup and takedown for special events\/functions at the arena.<\/li>\n<li>Provide exceptional customer service to facility patrons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous cleaning experience and\/or work in a similar facility, particularly in municipal or public settings, is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li><strong>Core Competencies:<\/strong><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Independent work management with attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in time management and adaptable to varied tasks<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> $20.90 hourly<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Owen Sound?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the perfect balance of urban convenience and natural beauty.
