{"id":6228,"date":"2026-07-02T10:40:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:40:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ymcaowensound.on.ca\/jobboard\/?post_type=job_listing_board&#038;p=6228"},"modified":"2026-07-02T10:40:46","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T14:40:46","slug":"community-coordinator-3","status":"publish","type":"job_listing_board","link":"https:\/\/www.ymcaowensound.on.ca\/jobboard\/job\/community-coordinator-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Coordinator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a youth to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks.<\/p>\n<p>The Intersections Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development and promotion of Intersections Wood Symposium 2026,program development, Facebook and website marketing and building relationships within the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this role should have strong leadership skills, a passion for service to others, excellent communication abilities and some knowledge of wood working.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Coordinates daily operations of Intersections, including working with the Board, working with volunteers, meeting and greeting drop in visitors, assisting with Summer programs, and regular upkeep of the shop.<\/p>\n<p>Support planning and promotion for the Wood Symposium 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure Board and organizational policies and practices are followed<\/p>\n<p>Support and assist Instructors and volunteers who are teaching and helping with Summer programs.<\/p>\n<p>Develop partnerships with local organizations and businesses.
