The Turf Department has a unique list of responsibilities and is looking for people to join our team. The position is attractive to individuals who enjoy early mornings, a fast-paced team environment and endless learning avenues related to golf course maintenance, property maintenance and landscaping. With a consistent work ethic, initiative, and commitment to achieving common goals, there is potential for the right seasonal candidate to develop into a full-time, year-round employee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General labour duties on the golf course as well as amenities, parks and other property landscape<\/li>\n<li>Light &amp; heavy equipment operation in a safe manner<\/li>\n<li>Learn and aid in agronomic practices throughout the golf course and the property<\/li>\n<li>Maintain shop\/equipment cleanliness to Cobble Beach&rsquo;s operating standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Above all else, have <strong>integrity<\/strong>, <strong>a positive attitude<\/strong>, and a <strong>willingness to learn<\/strong> each day<\/li>\n<li>Thrive working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented department<\/li>\n<li>Previous golf course or property maintenance experience is an asset, but not a requirement<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Can meet the physical demands of the job<\/li>\n<li>CSA Approved steel toe work shoes\/boots and professional appearance<\/li>\n<li>Are willing and able to work in all weather conditions (heat\/humidity, rain, snow)<\/li>\n<li>Early mornings, some weekends, and some statutory holidays<\/li>\n<li>Transportation to and from work daily is mandatory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Starting at $17.60.
