We are looking for mature, hardworking employees to join our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Property Manager (PM) and the Golf Course Superintendent (GCS) the Landscape Crew Lead &ndash; Labourer will<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks related to hard and soft landscaping as well as maintenance of said scapings<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of the Landscape Construction\/Maintenance team on residents&rsquo; homes, new builds and property lands to the standards of the Cobble Beach Landscape Department.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other work related duties required on the Cobble Beach property and\/or the golf course as directed by management<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally assist other turf departments within Cobble Beach &#8211; i.e. the golf course and the horticultural team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow direction from the APM\/Crew Lead and efficiently carry out tasks such as:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Site preparation (demo, layout, excavation etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Hard landscaping (retaining walls, interlock\/natural stone &#8211; driveways, patios, porches &amp; walkways etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Soft Landscaping (planting, mulching, sodding etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Operate various tools and equipment, including: plate tampers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, rakes, hammers, drills, tractors, skid steers, loaders, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Assist with loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment required to complete projects<\/li>\n<li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations. Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in daily record keeping and work orders<\/li>\n<li>Assist in shop organization and cleanliness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Above all else, have integrity, respect, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn each day<\/li>\n<li>Thrive working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented department<\/li>\n<li>Previous golf course or property maintenance experience is an asset, but not a requirement<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Can meet the physical demands of the job<\/li>\n<li>CSA Approved steel toe work shoes\/boots and professional appearance<\/li>\n<li>Transportation to and from work daily is mandatory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position requires you to work outside in varying weather conditions.
