We are seeking a full-time “G2” Gasfitter to join the Walkerton, Ontario team.  <\/p>\n

What you’ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • The Gas Technician is responsible for installing and servicing complex residential and commercial propane and natural gas-related equipment up to and greater than 400,000 BTUs.<\/li>\n
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy objects regularly and love working outdoors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Safe operation of the crane truck and other service vehicles required to perform tank installations, relocations and pickups.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain, request, and stock service trucks with inventory. Ensure all necessary parts, materials, supplies, and equipment is available to perform daily work orders and meet customer requests.<\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with the Market Manager or Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator and inform them of any successes, issues, or challenges encountered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      What you bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Valid G1 or G2 Gas fitter’s license.<\/li>\n
      • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • HVAC certification and qualifications are preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Advanced technical knowledge of propane appliances, equipment, and plant operations.<\/li>\n
      • Excellent knowledge of B149 code.<\/li>\n
      • Valid driver’s license and incident free driver’s abstract.<\/li>\n
      • Good Customer service\/Communication skills.<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically the on-board truck computers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Salary:<\/strong> $23 – $28 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).<\/p>\n
