The Community mentor will be trained to facilitate the Youth Leadership Program modules, as well as holding responsibility for implementing the Right to Play Leadership Program; design and implement the PLAY After School Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of College Diplomas in any of the following areas (Community Services; Child &amp; Youth Worker; Recreation &amp; Leisure; Social Services Worker; ECE, Business &ndash; Human Resources; Office Administration); Aboriginal specific programs (community advocacy, education, family and child services) or equivalent community experience.<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) &ndash; three (3) years&rsquo; experience working with youth and children in recreation, arts and cultural programming.<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) &ndash; three (3) years&rsquo; experience in coordinating large events for 59+ people<\/li>\n<li>One (1) &ndash; two (2) years&rsquo; facilitating workshops for groups of 10 or more<\/li>\n<li>Must submit current Criminal Record Check and CAS background checks<\/li>\n<li>Use of Microsoft and computer programs, internet, email<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage budgets, complete reports, collect data and program statistics<\/li>\n<li>Valid Ontario Driver&rsquo;s G Licence, and access to transportation (Preference is an &ldquo;F&rdquo; licence)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit cover letter &ndash; must address the qualifications outlined with resume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drop off or mail to<\/strong>: Administration Office, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, 135 Lakeshore Blvd. Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario, N0H 2T0.
