In this position you will:
• provide onsite quality customer services in person, virtually and by phone by providing timely and accurate information related to government programs, products and services
• greet and assist customers
• process applications and renewals
• provide information about government services
• collect payments and issue receipts
• answer customer questions
• stay informed about policies and products<\/p>\n

What you bring to the team<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Exceptional customer service must have:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

• Customer focus <\/strong>to provide optimum service, explain information and meet customer needs and resolve customer inquiries and find solutions resulting in a positive customer experience.
• Effective communication<\/strong> to explain guidelines and procedures, respond to customer questions, write concise correspondence, apply judgment, tact, empathy and patience to meet customer needs.
• Thinking skills<\/strong> to probe for information, assess situations, and determine customer needs, and take appropriate actions.
• Math skills<\/strong> to handle cash, operate cash register and point of sale machines to process transactions
• Computer proficiency<\/strong> and ability to use Microsoft Office, database programs, and operation of specialized equipment.
•Team collaboration<\/strong> to work well with colleagues in a team environment.<\/p>\n
