The Mental Health and Addictions Case Manager ensures that the work of multiple service workers and caregivers is coordinated to enable clients to make changes in their lives that they desire in order to increase the quality of their lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Social Work or related field<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of two years&rsquo; work experience in Social Services, additions and mental health<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills to supervise staff and oversee program<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills to interact with clients, staff and others<\/li>\n<li>Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects<\/li>\n<li>Experience in conflict resolution practices, problem solving and intervention<\/li>\n<li>Skills in crisis intervention and the ability to handle stress situations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of indigenous culture and traditions with respect for all faith-based standards of livin<\/li>\n<li>Valid Ontario Class G Driver&rsquo;s Licence<\/li>\n<li>Acceptable recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check<\/li>\n<li>First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to undertake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit cover letter and resume addressing qualifications outlined<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drop off or mail to<\/strong>: Administration Office, Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, 135 Lakeshore Blvd. Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario, N0H 2T0.
