Possessing strong leadership, communication, administration and organizational skills, while also demonstrating enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse situations. A background in child development or education is essential, as is experience in planning and leading activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key Qualities and Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Leadership:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ability to guide, motivate, and inspire, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Communication:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clear, effective, and empathetic communication with children, parents, and fellow colleagues.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Organization:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ability to plan and manage daily activities, schedules, and logistics efficiently.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enthusiasm and Passion:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A genuine love for working with children and a positive attitude that creates a fun and engaging atmosphere.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Patience and Adaptability:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ability to handle challenging situations, resolve conflicts, and adjust plans as needed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Safety Consciousness:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prioritizing the well-being of clients, ensuring a safe environment, and adhering to safety protocols.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Aid\/CPR Certification:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Having current certification in First Aid and CPR is crucial for handling minor injuries or emergencies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Problem-Solving Skills:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ability to identify and address client needs, manage conflicts, and find solutions to unexpected issues.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Supervising and leading:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensuring clients are safe, engaged, and having a positive experience during various activities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Planning and leading activities:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Developing and implementing age-appropriate games, crafts, sports, and other recreational activities in line with the programs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Building positive relationships:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable and supported.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Communicating:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Providing updates on children&rsquo;s progress, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive relationship with families.<\/p>\n<p>Communication with Program Manager and Directors, keeping all avenues open and two-way<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Managing conflict and behavior:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Addressing conflicts between children, redirecting negative behaviours, and promoting positive social interactions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Adhering to Queen of Hearts policies and procedures:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following all established guidelines for safety, health, and conduct.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Participating in team meetings and training:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations and share best practices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maintaining a clean and organized environment:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensuring the areas of work are tidy and well-maintained.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&rsquo;s in it for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a member of our team:-<\/p>\n<p>You will receive a competitive salary<\/p>\n<p>Starting paid vacation of 16 days per year<\/p>\n<p>Travel allowance for all employees living over 20km from the School<\/p>\n<p>We offer to pay 50% of the cost if you decide to take our amazing health and dental package<\/p>\n<p>If you have children &ndash;
