The position is attractive to individuals who enjoy early mornings, a fast-paced team environment and endless learning avenues related to golf course maintenance, property maintenance and landscaping. With a consistent work ethic, initiative, and commitment to achieving common goals, there is potential for the right seasonal candidate to develop into a full-time, year-round employee.

Responsibilities

• General labour duties on the golf course as well as amenities, parks and other property landscape
• Light & heavy equipment operation in a safe manner
• Learn and aid in agronomic practices throughout the golf course and the property
• Maintain shop/equipment cleanliness to Cobble Beach’s operating standards

Requirements

• Above all else, have integrity, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn each day
• Thrive working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented department
• Previous golf course or property maintenance experience is an asset, but not a requirement
• Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Can meet the physical demands of the job
• CSA Approved steel toe work shoes/boots and professional appearance
• Are willing and able to work in all weather conditions (heat/humidity, rain, snow)
• Early mornings, some weekends, and some statutory holidays
• Transportation to and from work daily is mandatory

Compensation

• Starting at $17.60. Potentially more based on experience
