Summer Intern – Architectural & Sales Support
📍 Shallow Lake, Ontario | Summer Internship | Spring–Early Fall | $22–$25/hour
Shouldice Stone is seeking a Summer Intern to support our architectural, sales, and product development teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a student in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related program to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business.
As an intern, you’ll contribute to real projects while gaining exposure to architecture, manufacturing, product development, and sales operations within a leading North American manufacturer of brick and stone veneer products.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with AutoCAD drawings and provide technical support for architectural projects
- Support the development and setup of Stencil Stone designs and layouts
- Provide customer service and administrative support to the sales team
- Collaborate with the Product Line Developer on new product initiatives
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of architectural resources, drawings, and product documentation
- Support general project coordination and technical tasks across departments
- Assist in preparing architectural presentations, sample packages, and materials for architects, designers, and builders
- Support the development of specification packages and project submittals
- Help track and organize architectural leads, specifications, and project opportunities
- Conduct research on upcoming construction projects and architectural firms to support business development efforts
- Maintain and update architectural binders, digital libraries, and CRM data
- Support the coordination of lunch-and-learns, site visits, and showroom experiences
- Assist in gathering and organizing project photography and case studies for marketing and sales materials
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related program
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
- Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
- Interest in building materials, design, and manufacturing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- An outgoing, personable individual with customer service or sales experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively

Internship Details
- Contract Internship
- Start: Spring (after school term ends)
- End: Early Fall
- Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Hours Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
