Job Description

The Senior Park Maintenance Attendant is responsible for maintenance operations of facilities, equipment, trails, recreational assets and structures, supervision of maintenance and Park Patrol staff and delivery of related products and services.

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma and over six (6) months’ experience in a park management and or operations role
• Experience or thorough knowledge of the planning, construction and maintenance of park facilities such as campsites, trails or related
• Experience or the knowledge and ability to learn maple syrup operations
• Experience with the maintenance and safe operations of small equipment and tools
• Supervisory experience that includes coaching and training
• Experience working in a First Nation and or Indigenous community and or organization
• Familiar with the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation community and area
• Valid G Driver’s Licence
• Chainsaw Operator Licence or ability to obtain within three (3) months
• Propane Filling certification or ability to obtain within three (3) months
• CPR and First Aid training or ability to obtain within three (3) months
• Acceptable recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
