Job Description

The Roads Operator is responsible for the maintenance, repair, rehabilitation and construction of roads, ditches, fences, the cemetery, landfill, general landscape and general shop duties. In this role you would find yourself operating equipment such as trucks, plows, graders, loaders, excavators, dozers.

What is Required?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid DZ Driver’s Licence
  • Recent acceptable Driver’s Abstract
  • One (1) year experience operating heavy equipment such as trucks, graders, loaders, excavators, dozers, snow removal equipment
  • Experience with construction and landscape duties
  • Experience in a First Nation and or municipal setting would be considered an asset
  • Recent acceptable Criminal Record Check

Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered.
