Job Description

Our client, a provider of child and youth mental health services, is seeking for a Permanent Part-Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for their Collingwood location. This role is scheduled for once a week on every Thursday from 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm, as well as additional coverages as needed on a semi-regular basis. Straight part-time day shift with wage starting at $18.00 per hour.

About The Role

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for greeting all individuals with a smile and warm welcome. This role includes administrative duties including routing calls, emails, and in person visits within a multi-tenant building; scheduling meeting rooms for appointment bookings; and assisting in keeping the office clean and presentable. Other Requirements include:

  • Greeting, Assisting & Responding Appropriately to Visitors
  • Answer Incoming Telephone Calls and Provide Appropriate Response or Redirection to the Appropriate Staff/Company
  • Open, Sort, Log and Distribute Electronic, Internal & External Mail to Various Departments
  • Receive & Enter Data, Modify, Process & Compile Information
  • Maintain Office Records & Files, Both Physical & Electronic
  • Provide Administrative Support for Special Projects as Required
  • Attend Meetings as Assigned
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Experience Working in an Office or Similar Setting
  • Ability & Comfort Using Computer Systems (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, etc.)
  • Comfort Speaking to Individuals Across A Wide Variety of Cultures & Demographics
  • Privacy & Confidentiality Regarding Working with Various At-Risk Communities

 

This role would be a great fit for candidates with experience in administration, reception, project management, office management, retail, sales, or customer service
