Job Description
The Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment by greeting, informing and directing visitors and employees in a warm, courteous professional manner. In this role, you would find yourself performing a wide variety of clerical office duties to support the Health and Wellness department. Duties include, but are not limited to, answering and referring telephone calls and e-mails, photocopying, monitoring and ordering supplies, and distributing incoming mail and coordinating outgoing mail and courier services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Skilled with office equipment, computers and various software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Knowledge of the structure of First Nation, culture and traditions
- Knowledge of inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
- Basic financial literacy
- Acceptable recent Criminal Record Check
- CPR First Aid or ability to obtain within probationary period
Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered.
