Our client, a well-known construction management company, is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join their team in Shallow Lake, ON. Working directly with both internal and external teams, the Project Manager role will manage the completion of a wide variety of commercial & industrial construction projects throughout the Grey/Bruce County area.

About The Role

Working directly with Management, the Project Manager position will provide supervision and guidance for a variety of Commercial & Industrial Construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to manage are the keys to success in this role. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing & taking ownership of a wide variety of commercial & industrial construction projects
  • Maintaining the scope & timeline of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Collaborating & guiding various stakeholders including contractors, consultants, architects, & general team members
  • Reporting issues & creating mitigation strategy recommendations in real-time
  • Providing consistent written & verbal updates on project milestones to key stakeholders
  • Overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment & services required for project needs
  • Managing all project documentation, including work & change orders
  • Troubleshooting issues & coordinating team members/stakeholders where required
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years experience managing or coordinating construction projects
  • Valid drivers license & the ability to work at multiple sites throughout the Grey/Bruce County region
  • Strong knowledge of construction terms, processes, & best practices
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to work in a semi-autonomous environment
  • Excellent computer skills & ability to read/understand blueprints & technical drawings
  • Able to prioritize & deliver on tasks while meeting tight deadlines
