ParaMed is currently accepting resumes from Personal Support Workers (PSW) and other healthcare equivalencies. ParaMed Personal Support Workers travel within a designated geography to provide individualized care to patients within a community setting. Requirements:

• PSW Certificate or equivalent healthcare education in a related field
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with patients and their families
• Experience working with acutely ill, chronically ill, or palliative clients is considered a strong asset
• The ability to commit to working a set schedule including every other weekend
• A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and a willingness to travel to and from patient residences within Grey Bruce County.
• ParaMed recognizes the importance of immunization to protect our patients and team members from Covid-19. A condition of employment with ParaMed is that all new hires receive all required doses of a Covid 19 vaccine approved by Health Canada
