Our client, The BARS Program are currently looking for candidates to assist with a monthly secret shopping route located across Grey & Bruce County. The selected candidate will travel to a variety of convenience/grocery store locations to verify whether those locations are requesting ids for the purchase of cigarette and nicotine related products. Must provide own transportation with valid license (fuel cost provided). Current route must be completed on a single day sometime between July 1 – 6 and the current route is estimated to take 7 hours to complete. Wage starts at $19 per hour.

About The Company
The BARS Program has raised compliance training to an advanced level. Their Checkers, aged 19-24, are sent each month into customer stores or restaurant locations to conduct mock purchases of cigarettes and/or beer. The purpose of this is to monitor the store employees, seeing if they ask for the customer’s ID prior to asking for money to complete the sale. If the ID is requested, the employee receives a Green Card. If not, a Red Card is given.
This job would be a good fit for candidates with experience in retail, sales, marketing, production, customer service, fast food, or restaurant/serving positions.
