Program/Dept: Cape Croker Park
Reports To: Senior Park Maintenance Attendant
Type of Employment: Casual Contract – 26 weeks
Wage: $18.10- $22.56 (Level 1)
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
The Park Gate Attendant is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Park Registration Office, assists with the financial management of the park and directs the delivery of related services. The Park Attendant ensures that the park clientele are treated in a polite, friendly, courteous manner. This position will also assist with the design of marketing materials pertaining to the park, as well as contributing towards the Maple Syrup operations.
Qualifications
- Grade 11 Education
- Experience with reservation systems or transferable skill such as database/tracking software
- Experience working for a Frist Nation or Indigenous community and or organization
- Excellent organization and publicity skills
- Willingness to be Familiar with Park Rules, Park lay-out and Park Operations
- Working knowledge of keyboarding and Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Valid First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Acceptable Recent Criminal Record Check
Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered.
