Job purpose
As Owen’s House Attendant at Cobble Beach you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for both a la carte service and/or banquet services. You shall possess a high level of skill and knowledge in the culinary field. You will be expected to continue learning and growing as a culinary professional. You must present yourself in a professional manner always. As a Owen’s House Attendant, it is your job to pay very close attention to detail and provide our customers with exceptional quality food and presentation.
Duties and responsibilities
- Learn and understand the Owen’s House menu
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Prepare food items as set out by Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
- Deal with customer complaints
- Communicate any issues with management
- Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of Owen’s House
- Must keep an organized work environment
- Stock all food, beverage, take out supplies, chemicals
- Rotate stock using first in first out rule
- Properly wrap foods to prevent contamination
- Label and date food items to ensure proper rotation
- Record any waste and communicate with Chef
- Learn about Cobble Beach Resort
- Communicate any product shortages
Qualifications
- Dedicated, hardworking and punctual
- Smart Serve certification
- Safe food handlers certificate
Working conditions
This position requires you to be available anytime the restaurant is open. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and special occasions. This position may require long hours, working on holidays and weekends.
