BVO is now accepting resumes for a Kids Club After School Program Staff (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m Monday – Friday). The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Facilitate a well-rounded After School Program at Beaver Valley Community School where indoor & outdoor play is incorporated
• Role modeling play based learning
• Available for staff meetings, training, and workshops

Education:

• Mature person who enjoys working with kids in a fun environment (must be 18 years of age)
• Previous experience working with young children and parents, an asset
• Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Up to date immunization record with proof
• Successful candidate will be required to take WHMIS, AODA, Food Handlers training and Health & Safety (BVO willing to train)

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Enthusiastic, supportive, encouraging, resourceful and creative
• Organized and efficient
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• An understanding of “How Does Learning Happen”
