About the Opportunity:
Are you the kind of person who enjoys organizing tech gear, solving everyday tech problems, and learning how IT supports an entire organization? We’re looking for a curious, hands-on student to join our IT team this summer.
Reporting to the IT Supervisor, you will spend your summer gaining exposure to everything from tagging hardware to triaging helpdesk requests. You’ll be part of a team that keeps Keystone’s systems running and help support the staff doing critical work in child and youth mental health services.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Hardware & Device Set-Up
•Tagging and labeling devices (QR codes, asset tracking)
•Organizing the IT storage room and managing equipment inventory
•Cleaning and prepping laptops and mobile devices for re-use
•Installing remote management tools and confirming connectivity
•Helping with cable management and workstation set-ups
Software & Configuration
•Assisting with set-up of laptops and IOS devices using Intune and Apple Business Manager (ABM)
•Verifying compliance through Endpoint Manager
•Help configure standard applications and user settings
Helpdesk Support (Tier 1)
•Logging and routing helpdesk tickets
•Troubleshooting common issues (Wi-Fi, printers, accessories)
•Swapping out monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals
•Assisting with password resets in Microsoft 365
•Restarting access points and checking basic network connections
Networking Basics
•Running simple tests (ping, DNS, SSID verification)
•Tracing cables and supporting connectivity troubleshooting
What you Bring:
•Enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field
•Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to tasks
•Comfortable working hands-on with devices, cords, and cables
•A basic understanding of Windows, networking, and troubleshooting
•Reliable, resourceful, and able to follow direction well
•A team player who brings a helpful attitude and curiosity
•A clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check before starting

Keystone is the Lead Agency for child and youth mental health in Grey and Bruce. We help ensure services are accessible, effective, and well-connected across our community.
As part of this role, we lead system planning, identify gaps in care, and advocate for fair and equal access. We also support collaborative programs such as One Stop Talk and the Ontario Intensive Treatment Pathway, so families can get the right help when they need it.
