About Us: Blue Mountain Covers is one of the first to provide fabric covers to building manufacturers in the industry. We are true pioneers in the fabric structure industry and a partner to Calhoun Super Structures.

Job Summary

The Labourer, under the direction of the Supervisor, will primarily be responsible to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints. The fabric crew measure, cut, weld, and alter large fabric covers to the unique specifications of the customers building. This position will keep equipment and work area clean and orderly. Successful candidates must possess energetic individuals, able to work in fast paced environment with high productivity.

Job Duties

  • Measure, cut, weld, sew, and alter large scale fabric based on customers unique building needs.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly
  • Assist other workers when needed
  • Ensure proper care of machinery and supplies
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective and courteous manner with coworkers and supervisors
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor


Job Requirements

  • Energetic individuals, able to work in fast paced environment with high productivity
  • Able to read tape measure is a must (using imperial)
  • Demonstrated time management skills

Work Conditions

  • Standing for up to 10 hours per day and other physically demanding conditions
  • Frequent movement (lifting (up to 60lbs), carrying, bending, turning and pulling)
