Job Description
Overview
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations. This role requires strong time management, route awareness, and the ability to meet scheduled delivery windows while maintaining excellent service standards.
Drivers will follow assigned routes, use delivery technology, and always represent the company professionally.
Payrate: $20.00 per hour
The tentative start date is January 28, 2026, subject to change.
Duties
- Scan and load packages onto the vehicle at the start of each shift with 100% accuracy
- Follow assigned routes to safely deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in Owen Sound and surrounding areas.
- Use delivery apps/devices to scan, track and confirm each delivery in real time
- Maintain high delivery quality with minimal errors, mis-deliveries or customer complaints
- Operate the vehicle safely, perform basic checks and report incidents, delays or issues promptly
- Demonstrate profession conduct and courteous customer service at all delivery points
- Comply with all company policies, safety requirements and road regulations
Requirements
- Valid G-class driver’s license (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (delivery experience preferred)
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry packages (up to approximately 65 lbs)
- Familiarity with delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Abstract and criminal record checks are conducted
- This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of service
