Job Description

Program/Dept: Native Child Welfare

Reports To: Family Services Supervisor

Type of Employment: Full-time permanent

Wage: $25.44 – $31.63 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Closing Date: Monday, March 23, 2026 4:00pm EST

To work with sole support clients and temporary care cases as a client representative and to administer

The Ontario Works legislation as it pertains to client. Work as a family support worker as per Ontario Works

guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Social Services Diploma through an accredited college or university
  • Or Grade 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Social Services or Administration
  • Must be willing to take Family Support training provided by the Ministry, and other training as required.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence an asset, and readily access to a reliable vehicle
  • Stress Management Skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Acceptable recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
