Location: Owen Sound, Ontario Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Reports to: Director of Operations and Engineering, and VP regarding sales function Salary: Starting at approximately $50,000 annually, based on experience

The Role
•Provides quotation to the sales department
•Provides costing data to sales staff which is used for quoting purposes to the customer.
•Prepares the necessary drawings and specifications used by production to manufacture as per contractual customer requirements
•Responsible for all design drawing control and updating of drawings.
•Work with our Fusion Software Program for the design and preparation of drawings of crates etc. for Clients and our Shop
•Understanding of AutoCAD
•Prepare drawings based on client requirements and Specifications, which would include a Bill of Material, Cost/Estimating document, Cutting Sheet and Work Order for the Shop.
•Provide Costing data to Sales staff for quoting purposes.
•Make necessary changes to drawings and specifications as required
•Responsible for all design drawing control and updating of drawings as required
•Work closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure that the client requirements are met and we are manufacturing as per the Quotation, drawings, cut Sheets
•The Work Order to the Shop will be produced from the Quotation document.
•Provide the Quality Inspection Sheet issued to the Shop Foreman with all other related production documents
•Provide post-costing information if required
•As required and if available provide support to the VP in the sales function, prepare quotes, follow up and communicate with customers as required
Compensation & Benefits
•Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually, based on experience
•Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.-In person
