Job Description
Overview:
The Driller is accountable for ensuring all drilling equipment—including the drill rig, compressors, and
pumping equipment—is properly operated, maintained, and available to meet daily project
requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, understand, and sign off on Work Plans and Job Safety documentation to ensure
compliance with project requirements.
• Confirm the timely arrival and readiness of assigned equipment, materials, and inventory
required for drilling operations.
• Oversee routine equipment checks and maintenance to support safe, reliable, and efficient
drilling activities.
• Verify availability and suitability of water supply, mud additives, and air sources before and
during drilling operations.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to review job scope, borehole strategy, and
execution approach.
• Review and align daily and weekly production goals to ensure work is planned and executed
efficiently.
• Operate the drill rig in accordance with company standards, safety regulations, and best
practices.
• Monitor, mentor, and provide on‑the‑job guidance to team members supporting skill
development and safety practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in vertical and horizontal drilling
Experience working with dual and single drill rigs
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in muddy or uneven outdoor conditions
Demonstrated ability to operate drill rigs and perform basic inspections for daily maintenance.
Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety requirements, and make suggestions for
operational improvements on site.
Reliable attendance and ability to travel to job sites.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime
