Are you a self-motivated fun person who just “loves” dinosaurs and meeting people.

QYC Fun Factory (part of the Queen of Hearts group of companies) is a dinosaur themed children’s play centre on the East side of Owen Sound. We are expanding into phase two and looking for individuals with exceptional customer service and sunny personality for shift work.

This is a casual/part-time position. Hours would include some weekend and early evenings as well as some week days depending on your availability.

Key Skills and Requirements wish list:

• Interpersonal Skills: Enthusiastic, welcoming personality with the ability to handle multiple situations at once
• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve guest issues calmly and professionally.
• Technical Proficiency: Abiliity to learn the POS system and other systems within the centre.
• Communication: Clear verbal communication..
• Knowledge: Knowledge or the ability and desire to learn some cool dino facts.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Customer Service: you need strong interpersonal communication, a welcoming demeanor, and a customer service-oriented attitude – do you generate warmth and fun
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet for long periods. Willing to do what’s needed with a can-do attitude.
• Daily duties – Greeting, registering guests, hosting parties, engaging with guests throughout their stay, following all requirements as laid out by operations manuals, cleaning and basic cafe duties .
• Honesty and Integrity – Essential
• Team work: Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and a positive, energetic personality help you stand out in this position. These skills are essential for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Age and Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
