As a charity igniting the potential in people, we are seeking an individual who brings energy and compassion to their everyday work to join our Community Justice team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a strong customer service background. Responsibilities:
- Deliver alternative justice services to youth and/or adults referred to the program(s) from across Grey & Bruce.
- Develop and facilitate workshops to youth and adults.
- Match, place and monitor clients required to complete community service with nonprofit community organizations.
- Liaise with other justice sector agencies and community partners.
- Respond professionally to challenging situations.
- Conduct outreach to local organizations, stakeholders and community groups.
- All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Have current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than ninety (90) days preceding your start date.
- Have post-secondary degree or diploma in social services or related field plus related work experience.
- Have minimum Class G Driver’s License; own vehicle and be willing and able to travel throughout Grey and Bruce Counties.
- Demonstrated experience creating content and delivering workshops.
- Demonstrated knowledge of alternative justice and the justice system.
- Excellent communication / organization skills, comfortable with public speaking.
- Detail oriented with high expectations ensuring quality service provision and documentation.
- Works independently and succeeds in setting priorities and achieving outcomes.
- Provide 3 professional references.
