Our client, a family-oriented campground, is currently seeking an experienced Campground Operations Assistant to join the team at their busy location in Sauble Beach, ON. The selected candidate will work alongside the owner & their team to assist in the daily coordination and collaboration of all campground activities. This seasonal position typically runs from April to Mid-October and has a wage range starting between $20 – $24 per hour based on experience.

About The Role
Working directly with management, the Seasonal Campground Operations Assistant will be involved in a variety of tasks in both an office, customer service and facilities management setting. This hands-on role requires a strong ability to perform administrative tasks, while also being willing to roll-up the sleeves and get hands-on when duty calls. The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player who possesses demonstrated problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. Tasks may include:
- Managing Daily Office Operations & Administrative Duties
- Providing Hands-on Assistance with Seasonal & General Maintenance
- Scheduling, Overseeing & Directing Staff, Visitors & Contractors
- Collaborating with Owners in Planning & Executing Business Operations
- Communicating with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Managing Customer Inquires, Including Quoting, Booking & Scheduling
- Liaising with Staff Across a Variety of Internal Teams (Recreation, Patrol, Maintenance, Etc.)
- Other Tasks as Assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Post-Secondary Education in Business or Related Field
- Demonstrated Proficiency with Google Sheets & Mac Computers
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Exceptional Organizational & Time Management Skills
- Experience Managing Staff & Overseeing Business Operations
- Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities
- Experience in General Maintenance Considered an Asset
- Must be able to Pass Criminal Background & Vulnerable Sector Check
