Job Description

Our client, a family-oriented campground, is currently seeking an experienced Campground Operations Assistant to join the team at their busy location in Sauble Beach, ON. The selected candidate will work alongside the owner & their team to assist in the daily coordination and collaboration of all campground activities. This seasonal position typically runs from April to Mid-October and has a wage range starting between $20 – $24 per hour based on experience.

About The Role

Working directly with management, the Seasonal Campground Operations Assistant will be involved in a variety of tasks in both an office, customer service and facilities management setting. This hands-on role requires a strong ability to perform administrative tasks, while also being willing to roll-up the sleeves and get hands-on when duty calls. The ideal candidate will be an energetic team player who possesses demonstrated problem solving skills and a strong work ethic. Tasks may include:

  • Managing Daily Office Operations & Administrative Duties
  • Providing Hands-on Assistance with Seasonal & General Maintenance
  • Scheduling, Overseeing & Directing Staff, Visitors & Contractors
  • Collaborating with Owners in Planning & Executing Business Operations
  • Communicating with Internal & External Stakeholders
  • Managing Customer Inquires, Including Quoting, Booking & Scheduling
  • Liaising with Staff Across a Variety of Internal Teams (Recreation, Patrol, Maintenance, Etc.)
  • Other Tasks as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum Post-Secondary Education in Business or Related Field
  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Google Sheets & Mac Computers
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
  • Exceptional Organizational & Time Management Skills
  • Experience Managing Staff & Overseeing Business Operations
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities
  • Experience in General Maintenance Considered an Asset
  • Must be able to Pass Criminal Background & Vulnerable Sector Check

You may be a great fit for this position if you have previous experience as an operations manager, campsite supervisor, resident manager, admin, or general manger.
