Our BACKPACK CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR will organize school supplies, build the stuffed backpacks and liaison with area agencies for distribution as well as where relevant, assisting with fundraising events for the program. Each year the United Way distributes thousands of backpacks to elementary and high school students throughout Bruce/Grey.

Duties:

• Support United Way fundraising events
• Soliciting funds and supplies from the community
• Coordinate client database with United Way staff and local service agencies
• Maintain inventory of supplies donated and purchased
• Distribution of inventory
• Media and public relations
• General office duties
• Community outreach and donor solicitation
• Fundraising
• Special events
