Job Description

– Plan and lead art education workshops for various age groups including: children, teens, adults, and seniors.
– Create content and schedules for quarterly art programs for children, teens, adults, and seniors.
– Develop and present examples of art projects for children and teens.
– Collaborate with Upwards staff and guest instructors to develop programming.
– Communicate and coordinate with guest instructors.
– Evaluate program effectiveness using participant surveys.
– Ensure availability of supplies for workshops.
– Greet patrons and provide excellent customer service.
– Resolve patron complaints.
– Perform cash register transactions accurately.
– Maintain studio housekeeping standards.
– Handle incoming studio supplies and maintain workspace order.
– Stay informed about the open studio and workshop schedule, promotions, and rewards programs.
– Execute opening and closing procedures.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Previous experience an asset.
