General Description: A day porter/matron is generally responsible for daily cleaning tasks including but not limited to, monitoring common areas, replenishment of consumables, dusting, vacuuming, dry and damp mopping, cleaning washrooms and kitchenettes, and the collection of garbage and recycling.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Participate in all training as
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points
- Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are serviced as needed including: clean/disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances as applicable, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors.
- Replenish supply of consumables such as: toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitizer,
- Dust furniture, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces as applicable.
- Wash glass in interior/exterior doors, partitions, and perimeter windows as applicable.
- Service entrances, lobbies and common areas as required including sweep/dry mop and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted areas and matting as applicable.
- Spot clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc. removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
- Clean stairwells and elevator as applicable.
- Respond to tenant requests.
- Additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
- Good communication in English.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and
- Dependable and have reliable transportation.
