Founding Babysitters Wanted in Owen Sound and Surrounding Communities
Sitters Co Canada is a modern babysitting platform launching locally, starting in Owen Sound and nearby communities.
We’re looking for a small group of responsible, warm, reliable sitters aged 18+ who genuinely enjoy caring for children and want a more organised way to access babysitting opportunities.
Approved sitters will be able to build a profile, choose their own hourly rate starting from $18/hour, manage availability, view babysitting opportunities, and get paid through the platform. Sitters Co does not take a percentage cut of your hourly sitter rate.
This may be a great fit if you are a student, ECE, education student, nursing student, experienced babysitter, nanny, camp counsellor, youth worker, or simply the person families already trust with their kids.
We are currently accepting applications before family access opens. Applying is free, but not every applicant will be accepted. We are building this carefully and looking for people who are dependable, kind, communicative, and safety-minded.
What sitters may help with:
Casual babysitting, date nights, weekend care, backup care, school holiday help, after-school support where no driving is required, and occasional family support.
Requirements:
You must be 18 or older, comfortable caring for children, reliable, communicative, and willing to complete the Sitters Co application and profile process.
