Job purpose
As a Food & Beverage Service Porter at Cobble Beach you are responsible for the overall atmosphere customer experience within the restaurant and Banquets. You will be required to be an expert on both the food and beverages being served at the establishment. You will be expected to present yourself in a professional manner which reflects the upscale casual environment of your workplace. Special attention should be paid to providing exceptional customer service at every step of service, enhancing the overall guest experience. Being a team player and working together with your peers on the service and culinary teams to achieve the ultimate guest experience is imperative.
Duties and responsibilities
- Multi task setting up functions around Cobble Beach
- Ensure cleanliness of all outlets in Food and Beverage Operations
- Help all outlets based on business levels
- Ensure all outlets in food and beverage have the essential tools to be successful
- Support the team to reach a common goal
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Ensure a superior guest experience
- Professionally deal with complaints /issues guests may have
- Stock, organize, clean restaurant work stations
- Learn about Cobble Beach Resort
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
This position requires you to be available anytime the food & beverage operations require it. This includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and banquetsspecial occasions inclusive of Concours D’Elegance. This position does require long hours and will include working holidays.
