Location: Owen Sound, Ontario Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Reports to: Director of Sales Salary: Starting at approximately $50,000 annually, based on experience

The Role
The Inside Sales and Project Coordinator supports the Director of Sales and works closely with production to ensure jobs are completed on schedule, accurately, and within scope. You will handle pricing support, customer follow-ups, scheduling, and status updates, while coordinating project details from quote to delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys balancing inside sales tasks with hands-on project coordination.
Responsibilities:

Daily
Respond to pricing inquiries; prepare quotes and price confirmations with accurate specifications and lead times.
Call and email customers to schedule meetings, confirm next steps, and record follow-ups in the CRM or tracker.
Present products and services tailored to client needs, and update notes and action items after each interaction.
Coordinate with production regarding job status; communicate changes, constraints, and approvals to the management team and clients.
Manage administrative duties, such as filing, scheduling, and updating project records and purchase requests.

Weekly
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients through regular check-ins and pipeline updates.
Create or update project plans with scope, deliverables, timelines, materials, and resource needs; identify risks early and suggest options.
Conduct a brief review of jobs in progress with production and sales; circulate status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
Track actuals against estimates for hours, materials, and freight; raise variances for approval.

Monthly
Support budget tracking and cost control with input from management; reconcile purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
Review quality and on-time delivery metrics; identify issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Contribute basic forecasts for bookings, revenue timing, and capacity signals.

Qualifications
Experience in inside sales and project coordination in manufacturing, packaging, logistics, or related fields is an asset.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; capable of handling multiple jobs and deadlines.
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort with learning basic CRM or job-tracking tools.
Clear, professional communication in writing and over the phone; confident in client-facing settings.
High attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
Purchasing experience is an asset.

Compensation & benefits
Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (In person)
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package following a three-month probationary period
