We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the clinic while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong willingness to learn continuously, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a patient focused, team-oriented environment.
DUTIES
• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, restorations, and dental surgeries.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict IPAC standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
• Handle exposure to oral fluids in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Support patients with a caring approach, ensuring their comfort during visits.
EXPERIENCE:
● Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
● Experience in a clinical health setting is preferred.
● Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a bonus, but not required for the right candidate.
● Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous.
● Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
● Valid drivers license and own working vehicle is required.
