Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our restoration team. This role involves assisting with various tasks related to property restoration and construction, including demolition, cleanup, material handling, and site preparation. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with demolition, debris removal, and cleanup of job sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Perform general construction and restoration labor as directed.
- Help prepare job sites by setting up and taking down tools and materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, technicians, and project managers.
- Occasionally assist in emergency response situations (e.g., flood or fire cleanups).
Qualifications
- Previous construction or restoration experience is an asset but not required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various conditions.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Good work ethic and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
