The Opportunity:
As our Remote Outside Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating new client relationships within the fine art community. Working independently, you’ll leverage your sales expertise and understanding of the art world to introduce our superior stretcher solutions to a wider audience. This is a unique opportunity to combine your sales prowess with your passion for art, contributing directly to the success of both artists and our company.
What You’ll Do:
● Market Expansion: Proactively identify, research, and target new potential clients across North America, including galleries, museums, conservators, art institutions, and professional artists.
● Grow Wholesale Offerings: Actively work to expand and grow our wholesale product offerings to new and existing clients.
● Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective clients through a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable approach.
● Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and initial contact through to closing deals and ensuring client satisfaction.
● Cold Calling & Outreach: Confidently execute cold calls and other outreach strategies to generate new business opportunities.
● CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and sales activities within our CRM system.
● Product Expertise: Become a trusted advisor on Upper Canada Stretchers’ product line, effectively communicating the unique benefits, quality, and innovative features of our custom and standard stretcher frames.
● Independent Work: Thrive in a remote, independent work environment, managing your schedule and priorities to achieve sales targets.
● Represent the Brand: Embody Upper Canada Stretchers’ commitment to quality, precision, and customer service in all interactions.
Who You Are:
● Proven Sales Background: A minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in a B2B environment.
● Art World Acumen: A solid understanding of the art world, particularly concerning art stretcher frames, materials, and their importance to artists and collectors.
● Self-Motivated & Independent: Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of managing your own territory and schedule effectively from a remote setting.
● Exceptional Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
● Relationship-Oriented: A natural connector who enjoys building rapport and fostering trust.
● Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software and comfortable with virtual communication tools.
● Results-Driven: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
