Job Description

Our campground is looking for Front Desk Team Members to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and overall guest experience. We have two full-time vacancy and one part-time vacancies available for a seasonal contract from May 1st to November 1st.

As a Front Desk Team Member, you’ll be responsible for managing guest services and maintaining high standards of hospitality in our fast-paced, storefront environment. You’ll also be serving ice cream to our happy campers! The ideal candidate will have a customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out processes.
  • Serve ice cream to guests.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information.
  • Ensure proper handling of phone systems and effective phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Monitor front desk performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Uphold campground policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in operating phone systems and managing communications effectively.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
  • Excellent front desk operations knowledge, including check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.

Important Details:

  • Operation Hours: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (9:00 PM on long weekends).
  • Shifts: Includes weekdays and weekends.
