Job Title: Licensed Carpenter
(Residential Construction & Large Renovations)
Location: Sauble Beach, ON

We’re growing and looking for a skilled, experienced, and reliable Licensed Carpenter to join our crew in a Crew Leading Position.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Carpenter to lead our team on various new construction projects and large-scale renovations. As a Crew Leader, you’ll not only apply your trade skills but also guide and manage a team of carpenters, apprentices and labourers to ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, apprentices, and labourers on new home builds and large renovations
- Manage and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring work is completed to code and in compliance with safety standards
- Oversee the quality of craftsmanship and make sure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and schedules
- Assist with the installation of framing, siding, windows, doors, decks, interior finishing and other key elements of new construction and renovations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow
- Maintain job site organization, ensuring tools and materials are handled properly and safely
- Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices.
- Perform regular quality checks and resolve any issues that arise on-site
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment
Requirements:
- Valid Red Seal Carpenter –Must provide License
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Reliable transportation and a clean driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Must have drivers license with a clean driver’s abstract and a reliable vehicle.
