Family YMCA Employment Services delivers a wide range of programs in serving Job Seekers and Employers. These programs are supported by various levels of government including:

The following programs are currently delivered by Family YMCA – Employment Services:
Employment Service - A comprehensive suite of employment services for all job seekers. Fully staffed Employment Resource Centres, skilled Employment Advisors and a Job Matching and Placement service are all available to assist connect job seekers with employment opportunities and training options.
Second Career – This is a program offered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) to help laid off workers access skills training and financial support so they can find high demand occupations in Ontario. For more information, click here.
TIOW: Targeted Initiative for Older Workers – This program aims to improve the employability of participants from 55 to 64 years of age, and may assist them through activities such as prior learning assessment, skills upgrading, and experience in new fields of work. Apprenticeship Signing Bonus and Scholarship Grants (Young Adults, Employers) -. Apprentices may be eligible for Apprenticeship Grants (Apprenticeship Incentive Grant and Apprenticeship Completion Grant). Employers can benefit from taking on an apprentice. In addition to having a dedicated employee and investing in training skilled people; there could also be financial incentives; such as Employer Signing Bonus and Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit.
